Some tried sleeping in the succah, some camping out at home in tents. Sukkot is a wonderful opportunity to get to know your brothers and sisters in the faith more intimately. The Torah tells us to “live in booths for seven days: All native-born Israelites are to live in booths, so your descendants will know that I made the Israelites live in booths when I brought them out of Egypt. I am יהוה your Elohim.” The succah is defined as a ‘temporary dwelling’ (dirat arai). It's from our past and will be part of our prophetic future when the woman flees into the wilderness to yet again dwell in the succah. Now is the season like no other to view our home not as a castle, but as a fragile tabernacle where we are totally dependent on יהוה! We are the nation that was born, not in its land, but in the desert, not in cities and FEMA camps but free!

The set apart anointing oil in the bible contains a herb called kaneh bosem קְנֵה בֹשֶׂם This translates as “fragrant cane,” or “sweet smelling cane.” But there are Alchemists amongst us using eisegesis to try and gain scriptural support for their vice and spreading it to all Israel.

Here's the reality it’s only the law/torah of commandments contained in ordinances that falls under the abolishment clause; NOT the law/torah contained in covenant!
The truth shall reveal the validity of YHWH’s law is Not being attacked, on the contrary Torah to the Tribes is upholding the law under the banner of Messiah in it’s proper administration, a MINISTRATION OF THE SPIRIT.

Who is Lazarus? In Chapter 11 of his gospel, John records the raising of Lazarus. While many know this to be a tale of Yahusha’s victory over the grave in our lives, most miss the deeper meaning. As we grow in our understanding of the true identity, we find that the story of Lazarus is not simply a story of personal resurrection, but the restoration of the House of Israel.

What is leaven? As we approach Chag Ha’Matzot/Feast of Unleavened Bread, we are called to examine our house and remove the leaven. If our focus is more on cleaning baking products out of our cupboards than examining our lives and cleaning out the sin, we miss the gravitas of the feast. We need to remove the leaven of the old man and replace it with the leaven of Yahusha, The Bread of Life.
