Isaiah 24:1 See, vuvh makes the earth empty, and makes it a ruin, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad its inhabitants. 2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the kohen; as with the eved, so with his master; as with the female eved, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of interest so with the giver of interest to him. 3 The earth shall be utterly emptied, and utterly plundered: for vuvh has spoken this word. 4 The earth mourns and fades away, the olam languishes and fades away, and the proud people of the earth lose lev.
Chapter 24-27 is known as the Isaiah apocalypse, a prophecy dealing with the end of the world, prophecies of doom for the world including cosmic destruction, desolation of the earth and its inhabitants.
Our religious creeds have altered his ‘ordinances’ or ‘ritual’ (hoq) and perverted his ‘laws’ or ‘doctrine’ (torot) violated יהוהs covenant is the norm/ the church creed rendering it void/done away with.
Just as new wine withers on languishing vines, when you and I share the new wine of Torah it just withers in the ears of most hearers why…
5 The earth also is defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the Torot, changed the chukim, and broken the everlasting brit. 6 Therefore has the curse, ha Allah devoured the earth, and they that live in it are ruined: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. 7 The new wine mourns, the vine languishes, all the glad at lev do sigh. 8 The simcha of tambourines ceases, the noise of them that gilah ends, the simcha of the harp ceases. 9 They shall not drink wine with a shir; strong drink shall be bitter to them that drink it.
At the very time the wicked ‘city’ perishes the righteous ‘city’ regenerates.
10 The city is broken down: every bayit is shut, so that no man may enter. 11 There is a crying for wine in the streets; all simcha is darkened, the simcha of the earth shall be gone. 12 In the city is left ruin, and the gate is smitten with destruction. 13 When this shall be in the midst of the earth among the nations, there shall be like the shaking of an olive eytz, and as the gleaning grapes when the grape harvest is done. 14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall shir for the excellency of vuvh, they shall cry aloud from the sea. 15 Therefore lift up vuvh in the east, even the Name of vuvh 8 Elohim of Yisrael in the coastlands of the sea. 16 From the farthest parts of the earth we have heard shirim, even tifereth to the Tzadik One
Last week we saw; how the ships of Tarshish; is laid waste.
We also saw; that Tyre shall be forgotten seventy years, according to the days of one king: after the end of seventy years shall Tyre sing as an harlot.
מֶלֶךְ melek Mem-Lamed-Chaf Sofit vs מַלְכָּה malkâh Mem-Lamed-Chaf-Heh 1953-2023 Heh – the queens closed door, opens the door to the end of the age.
Two prophetic patterns found in Jonah, the first, chapters one and two when Jonah is swallowed by the whale; and the second, chapter 3 relates to the end of the age and the death of a queen.
Matt 12:40 For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the huge fish, so the Son of Man shall be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. Mat 12:41 The men of Nineveh shall rise in judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it, because they repented at the proclaiming of Jonah, and behold, One greater than Jonah is here. Mat 12:42 The queen of the south shall rise up in the Judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it, for she came from the uttermost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold, One greater than Solomon is here.
The first prophetic SODE of Jonah related to Yahusha’s first coming.
The second prophetic Sode of Jonah then relates to Yahusha’s second coming.
Jonah 3:3 Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of יהוה. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days’ journey.
Instead of the queen of the south, Sheba rising up in the judgment; the other sign of Jonah is found in chapter 3 and deals with where Jonah was fleeing to in rebellion to יהוה and the queen of Tarshish’s demise bringing about the judgment of the next chapter which is our verse today
A day is a thousand years. With a post millennium return. Three days journey to Nineveh, the distance between Yahusha’s first coming and second coming is 3000 years – Is it possible the 2 days that lead to the millennium is 2030, and then thousand year rule before Yahusha returns at the end of the millennium?
3:4 And Jonah began to enter into the city a day’s journey, and he cried and said, Yet forty days and Nineveh shall be overthrown.
40 days, until Ninevah is overthrown, Nineveh represents the world, the nations. If the world repents they will be spared from destruction, using the jubilee cycle we would understand the 40 to represent 40 jubilees or 2000 years. The whole point of Jacobs trouble before the start of the millennium is to compel the nations to repent.
Rev 9:20 and the rest of the men who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and golden, and silver, and bronze, and stone, and wooden idols (which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk). Rev 9:21 And they did not repent of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
Rev 16:9 And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, He having authority over these plagues. And they did not repent in order to give Him glory.
The prophetic pattern of Ninevah is available to the nations in the end, but unlike the queen of Sheba who came from afar to seek wisdom, the queen of the West – Tarshish died with her nations and commonwealth swimming in pride.
The end of her 70 year reign was last year and leads the nations into a week/ the last 7 year period before the millennium rule…is it possible?
Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom became darkened. And they gnawed their tongues from the pain. Rev 16:11 And they blasphemed the God of Heaven because of their pains and their sores. And they did not repent of their deeds.
Jonah 3:5 And the people of Nineveh believed יהוה. And they called a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. For word came to the king of Nineveh, and he arose from his throne. And he laid his robe from him, and covered himself with sackcloth, and sat in ashes. 3:7 And he cried out and said in Nineveh by the decree of the king and his great ones, saying, Do not let man or beast, herd or flock taste anything; do not let them feed, nor drink water. 3:8 But let man and animal be covered with sackcloth, and cry mightily to יהוה. And let them each one turn from his evil way, and from the violence that is in their hands.
Rev 18:4 Come out of her, My people, that you may not be partakers of her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins joined together, even up to Heaven, and יהו has remembered her unjust deeds.
Jer 16:19 O יהוה, my strength and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the nations shall come to You from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and there is no profit in them. 20 Shall a man make gods to himself, and they are no gods? 21 Therefore, behold, I will make them know; this time I will cause them to know My hand and My might; and they shall know that My name is יהוה.
Jubilee: two aspects with this prophetically, the first aspect was fulfilled two thousand years ago: liberty is declared, He set the captives free.
The second aspect deals the the end of the age; land is returned to יהוהs people – the millennial land.
Yahusha was crucified on a jubilee year:
Lk 4:16 And He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And, as His custom was, He went in to the synagogue on the Sabbath day and stood up to read. 17 And the book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. And unrolling the book, He found the place where it was written, 18 “The Spirit of יהוה is on Me; because of this He has anointed Me to proclaim the Gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim deliverance to the captives, and new sight to the blind, to set at liberty those having been crushed, 19 to proclaim the acceptable year of יהוה.”
Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood, and without shedding of blood is no Jubilee. Gk: aphesis – Heb: Yovel
Second element is the millennium: 40 jubilees from when the shedding of Yahusha’s blood established the first prophetic jubilee.
16. But I said, I am wasting away, woe to me! The treacherous have dealt treacherously; yes, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.
Betrayers have betrayed, and the betrayers of the betrayers have betrayed. The five-fold repetition of בָּגַד bâgad betrayer, traitor is used to emphasize the reason for the destruction of the world.
17 Fear, and the pit, and the trap, are upon you, O inhabitants of the earth.
18 And it shall come to pass, that he who flees from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that comes up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the trap: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake. 19 The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is utterly removed, and the earth is moved exceedingly. 20 The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a little hut; and the transgression of it shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again.
The prophet likens the earth to a porter carrying a load that is too heavy for him. First he staggers, then he collapses and can never again stand up with this load. The analogy is obvious, the earth cannot bear the heavy burden of the sins of its inhabitants and it consequently sways and shakes, then collapses in a cataclysmic earthquake.
21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that vuvh shall punish the army of the high ones that are on high, and the melechim of the earth upon the earth. 22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited with mishpat.
Dungeon, literally pit, but the meaning here is the dungeon of a jail which is underground as in they they placed me in the pit. Gen 40:15,
23 Then the moon shall blush, and the sun shall be ashamed, when vuvh tzevaoth shall reign in Har Tzion, and in Yahrushalayim, before His esteemed zechanim.
With these words, this chapter which is so filled with despair ends with a good tiding. Up to this point Yeshayahu described in mysterious terms the “day of reckoning” when the enemies of the Saints receive their final punishment, and the Saints receive their due honor.
