Romans 13:5  Therefore it is necessary to be in submission—not only because of punishment but also because of conscience. 

Judeo-Christian interpretation: It’s the conscientious obligation of every believer to submit to government authority. period. 

In reality V.5 is telling us to submit to the Holy Spirit led conscience within the believer which will always lead one to the righteous judgments of יהוה. If a magistrate is established by Elohim, in harmony with the judgments of Elohim, as His minister, then we should likewise seek to be in harmony with the magistrate and powers, to do otherwise would be rebellion toward Elohim.

We’e to avoid factitious and seditious persons who oppose good government. These types of person are to be marked and avoided in our assemblies, as they become monsters and enemies, a danger within the camp.

The context is, your conscience (Spirt led – not carnal man). A time to submit….a time to rebel against authority.

Romans 13:6  For this reason you also pay taxes, for the authorities are Elohim’s servants, attending diligently to this very thing.

Judeo-Christian interpretation: Believers are obliged to pay taxes to all civil authorities. 

Context: “for this reason.” What reason? Because the identified authorities are “Elohim’s ministers.”

Those who perform the duty of Elohim’s rulers are supposed to be continually attending to public welfare and good.

Thomas Jefferson wrote; ‘to compel a man to furnish contributions of money for the propagation of opinions or actions which he disbelieves or abhors, is sinful and tyrannical….’

There is such a thing as biblically authorized taxes, and as such we’re explicitly charged to pay them….so again;  be aware of the factitious and seditious man for factions sake just as you should be aware of the docile plumb who’s god is government!

Romans 13:7  Pay to everyone what is due them—tribute to whom tribute is due; tax to whom tax is due; respect to whom respect is due; honor to whom honor is due. Fulfilling the Law Through Love.

Judeo-Christian interpretation: believers are obligated to pay all taxes placed upon them, without question, even if it’s oppressive and used to finance wickedness.

What when a nation uses all it’s wealth and power to hurt and injure the public?

In context of V. 4 don’t they then move away from being Elohim’s minister’s to S.a.tan’s ministers?

2 Chronicles 19:2 Should you help the wicked and love those who hate יהוה ? Because of this, wrath from before יהוה is against you.

We have to follow our conscience as believers (V.5) because to willingly finance and submit to ministers of evil is akin to endorsing the evil deeds.

Luke 23:2  And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow subverting our nation, forbidding payment of taxes to Caesar and saying that He Himself is Messiah—a king.”

A misquote of  Matthew 22:18, But Yeshua, knowing their wickedness, said, “Why are you testing Me, you hypocrites?19  Show Me the tax money.” So they brought Him a denarius.20  And He said to them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?”21  “Caesar’s,” they said to Him. Then He said to them, “Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to Elohim the things that are Elohim’s.” 

The Talmudic Jew’s were feeding Yahusha rope hoping he’d hang himself, just as today.  Think about it if Yahusha was promoting Caesar’s tyrannical tax, then why would the Talmudic Jew’s try to entrap him? It makes no sense. Obviously Yahusha wasn’t paying taxes and the Jew’s knew it!

Yahusha avoids their noose and challenges them to choose their god!

If you’re serving Caesar, you’d better pay him, but If you’re serving יהוה you’d  be better pay tithe unto Him.

Matthew 17:24 When they came to Capernaum, the collectors of the Temple tax came to Peter and said, “Your teacher pays the Temple tax, doesn’t He?” 25 “Yes,” Peter said. Now when Peter came into the house, Yeshua spoke to him first, saying, “What do you think, Simon? The kings of the earth, from whom do they collect tolls or tax? From their sons or from strangers?”26  After Peter said, “From strangers,” Yeshua said to him, “Then the sons are free. 27  But so that we do not offend them, go to the sea and throw out a hook, and take the first fish that comes up. And when you open its mouth, you’ll find a coin. Take that, and give it to them, for Me and you.”

Yahusha, the King of Kings, corrects Peter and informs him that those under His authority – son’s of Elohim were exempt from the taxation of other kings. Yahusha then goes onto to tell Peter to pay the tax ‘so as not to offend them’ and be proven a liar.

Yahusha didn’t allow Peter to pay out of their own ministry funds (they were automatically tax exempt), instead he was to get the money out of a fish’s mouth.

We have to walk according to conscience V. 5, in reality as servants of King Yahusha and ‘bnai elohim’,  we’re not subject to the tax of other Kings.

We certainly shouldn’t pay taxes out of the ministry funds.

But even though I’m free from taxes as a son of the King if evading tax would cause me to lie, and offend the tax collectors.

We’re commanded to resist tyrants: 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.9  Whom resist stedfast in the faith.  

John 18:3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, cometh thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

Leviticus 19:19 THe laws of Kilyaim: You shall keep my statutes; you shall not cause your livestock to breed with different kinds; you shall not sow two kinds in your field; and you shall not allow a garment mixed of linen and wool to come upon you.

Judas wanted Yahusha to come into line with his religious-political worldview, so much so that he was willing to endanger Him and the disciples to do so. Judas violated the laws of Kilyaim and it brought death into the camp.

Tear down the Constitution with the Word of יהוה and you choose which god you serve!

Exodus 20:1  I am יהוה your Elohim, who has brought you out from the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. 2 You shall not have any other gods before Me.

We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, ensure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. 

The Elohim יהוה or the elohim “We the people?” Yahwistic Monotheism or the elohim of Secular Humanism – Polythiesm?

In 1776 יהוה was abandoned and “We the people” became the new god, the new national idol.

We’re still under a theocracy; every nation is under a theocracy (Gen. 11). A governments laws reflect it’s morality and the source of that morality is always it’s national god.  Someones morality is always being enforced.

We need to go back a century before the 1700’s/18th century to the 1600’s or 17th century.

In New Haven Connecticut 1639 the saints adopted the bible, the law of Moses as the Constitution.

Daniel 7:25 And he shall speak words against the Most High, and he shall wear out the saints of the Most High. And he intends to change times and law. And they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and one half time.

A change of times and law happened when the US Constitution was adopted. We went from Puritan Colonies who banned Christmas, followers יהוה and biblical law into Citizens of a Secular Humanism serving the god “We the people” and the holidays of foreign gods. Gen. 11. 

A change of law always brings about a change in deity.

Habakkuk 1:4 Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth.

Habakkuk 1:7 They are terrible and dreadful: their judgment and their dignity shall proceed of themselves…..v.11Then shall his mind change, and he shall pass over, and offend, imputing this his power unto his god.

Whatever happened to the governments of the New England Colonies that served יהוה and upheld biblical law?

2 Corinthians 3:17 where the Spirit of יהוה  is, there is liberty.

Ask yourselves is the Spirit of יהוה in the Constitution?

Romans 13:8  Owe no one anything except to love one another, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the Torah.
