Isaiah goes about delivering prophecies addressing the political and moral crises, bringing warnings about the consequences of turning away from יהוה, exhortations to trust in יהוה rather than in human alliances, and the eventual restoration and blessings awaiting those who remained faithful.
Isaiah 32:1: See, a Melech shall reign in tzedakah, and rulers shall rule in mishpat.

Isaiah 32:2: And each man shall be as a hiding place from the wind, and a shelter from the storm; as rivers of mayim in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.
“Shelter from the wind” and “streams of water in the desert,” speaks to a community providing support and solace in times of need.
Isaiah 32:3: And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that will hear shall hear.
Transformation toward a more receptive, spiritually attuned state.
Isaiah 32:8: But the generous plans generous things; and by generous things shall he stand.
Here, Isaiah hints at a deeper, mystical understanding of nobility extending beyond social status. He shows us how true nobility of character is evidenced by honorable intentions and actions, emphasizing again, true equity.
Future – the coming Melchizedek – ideal ruler – Messiah.
Isaiah 32:11: Tremble, you women that are at ease; be troubled, you carefree ones: strip yourself, and make yourselves bare, and put on sackcloth upon your loins.
Awake to the impending changes.
Isaiah 32:15: Until the Ruach is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness is a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
Isaiah depicts spiritual renewal and abundance. The pouring of the Spirit represents a spiritual awakening that transforms desolation into richness and fertility.
Isaiah 32:17: And the work of tzedakah shall be shalom; and the effect of tzedakah rest and trust le-olam-va-ed.
We now see righteousness leads to peace, tranquility, and eternal confidence. Righteousness not only affects us as individuals but also influences the atmosphere around us.
Isaiah 32:18: And My people shall live in a homeland of shalom, and in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places;
This verse alludes to an ideal state where individuals dwell peacefully in secure and undisturbed places. It symbolizes a harmonious existence and a sense of spiritual tranquility and protection.
The emphasis is on spiritual renewal, righteousness, and the transformation of desolation into abundance, portraying an ideal state of peace and security.
Pre-Millennial Interpretation:
Isaiah 32:1: See, a Melech shall reign in tzedakah, and rulers shall rule in mishpat.
Isaiah’s vision seems to depict the present world.
Jacob’s First Trouble:
Isaiah 32:13: Upon the land of My people shall come up thorns and weeds; yes, upon all the houses of simcha in the joyous city:
This verse hints at the onset of troubles for Jacob/Israel. It foreshadows desolation and ruin preceding a period known as Jacob’s first trouble or distress.
Millennium:
Isaiah 32:15: Until the Ruach is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness is a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is counted as a forest.
It symbolizes the transformation from desolation to abundance and spiritual fertility during the millennial reign.
Isaiah 32:18: And My people shall live in a homeland of shalom, and in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.
This verse also depicts the millennium—a period of undisturbed rest and safe dwelling.
End of the Millennium and Final Return of Yahusha/Christ in bodily form:
Isaiah 32:20: Blessed are you that sow beside all kinds of mayim that send forth the feet of the ox and the donkey.
This verse symbolizes the period following the Millennium, portraying a time of immense blessings, prosperity, and freedom.
