15:1 The burden  of Moav. Because in the night, Ar of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night, Kir of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence.

Moab was destroyed by the superpower Assyria led by Sancheiriv. Those of you who have been to Israel know the Moab once lay along the eastern side of Dead Sea and the Jordan River.

This territory originally belonged to Moab until they lost it to Sichon the Emorite King. And as Emorite territory-and no longer Moabite Israel was permitted to conquer it from Sichon and settle the land.

Ironically the eventual destruction of Moab came about at the hands of the very same Assyrians under Sancheiriv whom the Moabites had conspired with against Israel in the past – double crossed.

15:1 The burden of Moav. Because in the night, Ar of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night, Kir of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence; 2 He is gone up to the Bayith, and to Divon, the high places, to weep: Moav shall wail over Nevo, and over Medeva: on all their heads shall be baldness, and every beard cut shall be cut off. 3 In their streets they shall put on themselves sackcloth: on the tops of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall wail, weeping abundantly. 4 And Cheshbon shall cry, and in Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even to Yahatz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moav shall cry out; their chayim shall tremble within them. 5 My lev shall cry out for Moav; her fugitives shall flee toTzoar, like a heifer of three years old: for with weeping  shall they go up by the ascending road of Luhith; for in the derech of Horonayim they shall raise up a cry of destruction. 

Here is the real distinction between the Most High’s Nevim and the town criers of the pagan nations.

Rev 8: And when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in Heaven for about half an hour.

Seven seals, seven heads, a seven part structure of doom oracles.

Prov 24:16 for a just one falls seven times, and rises up again; but the wicked shall fall into evil. 17 Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, and do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; 18 lest יהוה see, and it displease Him, and He turn away His wrath from him. Do not fret yourself because of evil ones, nor be jealous of the wicked 20 for there shall not be a hereafter to the evil; the lamp of the wicked shall be put out. 21 My son, fear יהוה and the king; and do not fellowship with those who are given to change; (well it all changed with Jesus. The OT commandments have changed now we have the NT. Passover has changed to Easter, Sabbath to Sunday…OH OH what will happen…).

…Prof 24:22 for their trouble shall rise suddenly, and who knows the ruin of them both?

6 For the mayim of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay will wither away, the grass fails, there is no green thing. 7 Therefore the abundance they have gotten, and that which they have laid up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows. 8 For the cry has gone all around the borders of Moav; its howling to Eglayim, and its howling to Be-er-Eylim. 9 For the mayim of Dimon shall be full of dahm: for I will bring more upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapes from Moav, and upon the remnant of the land.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the Ruach into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, 9 having seven heads and ten horns. 4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of the abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, 11 BAVEL – THE GREAT, THE EEMA OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS

The seven heads bridge to Isaiah’s seven part structure of doom oracles Is. Ch. 13- 23, Ch. 47.

The ten horns bridge to the ten ‘oracles’ or ‘burdens’ ‘massa’ the prophet utters against the nations:

The ten oracles or ‘massa’ create a Greater Babylon mental health doom oracle. What do I mean? By looking at the ten oracles you can see the greater doom oracle that is described in Rev 17:5

מַשָּׂא maśśâ’ to pay a tribute, mental doom,

1. 13:1 The burden of Bavel, which Yeshayahu the son of Amotz did see.
2. 14:28 28 In the year that melech Achaz died this following burden was received.
3. 15:1 The burden 4 of Moav. Because in the night, Ar of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence; because in the night, Kir of Moav is laid waste, and brought to silence;
4. 17:1 The burden of Dameshek. See, Dameshek is taken away from being a city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
5. 19:1 The burden of Mitzrayim. See, vuvh rides upon a swift cloud, and He shall come into Mitzrayim: and the idols of Mitzrayim shall tremble at His presence, and the lev of Mitzrayim shall melt in the midst of it.
6. 21:1 The burden of the desert of the sea. As whirlwinds in the south pass through; so it comes from the desert, from an awesome land. 
7. 21:11 11 The burden 2 of Dumah. He calls to me out of Seir, Watchman, how much of the night? Watchman, how much of the night?
8. 21:13 13 The burden upon Arabia. In the forest in Arabia shall you lodge, O you traveling companies of Dedanites.
9. 22:1 The burden of the Valley of Vision. What troubles you now that you all have gone up to the housetops?
10. 23:1 The burden of Tsor. Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no bayit, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to us.

The seven heads and ten horns are doom traits ascribed to the ancient nations that will be manifest in demonic mental health burdens manifest by the inhabitants of end time Mystery Babylon.

47:11 Therefore shall evil come upon you; you shall not know from where it rises: and trouble shall befall you; you shall not be able to put it off of you: and ruin shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know.

So immense is the desolation that even the military will be horror-struck.

In the midst of all this יהוהs righteous people are gathered out as the prophet proclaims in Is. 35:10 And the ransomed of vuvh shall return, and come to Tzion with shirim and everlasting simcha upon their heads: they shall obtain simcha upon simcha, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
