Assyria subjugates the historical superpower Egypt, the end time fulfillment of this prophecy will come about when the Assyrian - or northern power subjugates the West - end time Egypt…there is a three year warning as Isaiah here gives a three year warning in which men have time to repent.
The historical background of this chapter comes from 2. Ki 18/19 between the sixth and fourteenth year of the reign of Hekekah and the Assyrian king Sancheiriv who had conquered most of the known world – the Northern Kingdom of Israel and the exiled Ten Tribes. He then attacked and conquered most of the territory of the Southern Kingdom of Judah.
In Judah’s desperation they made the grave mistake of turning toward Egypt for assistance.
But something happened, before Sancheiriv attacked Jerusalem he had to divert his forces to deal with an uprising in Africa by an alliance with Egypt and its neighbor Cush under the leadership of TirhaKah, the king of Cush.
But history tells us this is a diversion, a redirection, a ploy and not the real solution because an African alliance with Egypt will keep one in Egypt.
Assyria subjugates the historical superpower Egypt, the end time fulfillment of this prophecy will come about when the Assyrian – or northern power subjugates the West – end time Egypt…there is a three year warning as Isaiah here gives a three year warning in which men have time to repent.
Isa. 20:1 In the year that Tartan (one of Sancheiriv’s generals) came to Ashdod, when Sargon the melech of Ashshur sent him, and fought against Ashdod, and took it…
8 Names:
Sargon, king of Assyria had eight names, and Sargon was one of them.
Ens legis L. Lat. A creature of the law; an artificial being, as contrasted with a natural person. Applied to corporations, considered as deriving their existence entirely from the law.
Interestingly Hezekiah who was a Isaiac foreshadow of Moshiach mistakenly believed he had eight names…this aided in his deception into believing he was the promised Melchizedek in the temple.
The eight names of Hezekiah are as it is written: “1. For to us a child is born, 2. to us a son is given; 3. and the government is upon his shoulder; and his name is called 4. Pele 5. yâ‛ats 6. El Gibbor 7. Abi Ad 8. Sar Shalom” (Isaiah 9:5).
The prophecies hint that he had an additional name, it actually wasn’t literal given name; rather, it is an SODE based on the fact that יהוה strengthened him [ḥizzeko]. Alternatively, he was called Hezekiah due to the fact that he strengthened the devotion of the Jewish people to their Father in Heaven.
Conversely, the eight names of Sennacherib are as it is written in his regard among the kings of Assyria: “Tiglath-Pileser” (II Kings 15:29), “Tiglath-Pilneser” (II Chronicles 28:20), “Shalmaneser” (II Kings 17:3), “Pul” (II Kings 15:19), “Sargon” (Isaiah 20:1), and “the great and noble Asenappar” (Ezra 4:10).
But, like unto Hezekah isn’t there an additional name for Sennacherib [Sanḥeriv]? Again this isn’t a given name; rather, it is an SODE based on the fact that his speech is contentious, leading to quarrel and shame. OR…was he was called Sanḥeriv due to the fact that he spoke [saḥ] and snorted out [niḥer] contemptuous statements.
You are given 8 names:
1. person, 2. dear taxpayer, 3. employee, 4. driver, 5. citizen (citizenship clause of the 14th Amendment – prior to 1868 we were Citizen’s now we are citizens – emancipation. Caveat…
Emancipation: may be conditional or absolute, complete or partial. Post 1868 emancipatio is conditional NOT absolute based upon compelled performance evidenced by the taking of benefits and privileges.
6. parent, 7. your ens legis name spelt grammatically incorrect in all capitols – 8. the sentient moral being – your given name.
Seven of them place you in a surety pledge position – liable!
Pro 6:1 My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger, (thy friend and the stranger is the ens legis name) 2 Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth (you stepped into the suretyship position) .3 Do this now, my son, and deliver thyself, when thou art come into the hand of thy friend (the judge is your friend if we come in honor, stay in honor and leave in honor – you want them to have jurisdiction to discharge the matter); go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend. 4 Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids. 5 Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler. (he who does not reserve his rights waives them)
Pro 11:15 He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.
Pro 17:18 A man void of understanding striketh hands, and becometh surety in the presence of his friend.
Only one name allows you to live as a king and priest…outside of her my people BUT you have to make that name very clearly known.
Dorothy: The Tin man – dead, the scarecrow (a straw man) – dead, lion alive – but he’s a cowardly lion.
The ultimate mind-body-spirit story.
Home is where your spirit, undergirded by your mind, lives. Home is the land of creditors, how can she ever get back to being a creditor in Kansas when she is made to believe she is a debtor in fictional Oz.
Alice in Wonderland – the other Alice. One side will make you taller, one side will make you smaller…caterpillar on the mushroom…Alice: come my head’s free at last.
2 At the same time spoke vuvh by Yeshayahu the son of Amotz, saying, Go and loose the sackcloth from off your loins, and put off your sandals from your foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
Isaiah is in a state of mourning not because of Egypt but because of the wickedness of יהוהs people.
יהוה asks of Isaiah and of us to expose ourselves to the elements of the world and to peoples mockery. I am not advocating nakedness, I am suggesting that we shine our faith brightly to the world even if that means mockery and disdain.
Look how the gospel writer builds upon this chapters theme here:
Matt 5:13 You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its savor, with what shall it be salted? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and to be trodden underfoot by men. 14 You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under the grain-measure, but on a lampstand. And it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in Heaven…Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I have not come to destroy but to fulfill.
We must expect to be persecuted, if we hold up the pure light of a consistent life amid the evils of the world.
Men hate the light which exposes their misdeeds. They will tolerate you only so long as you leave them alone.
Our holy lives ought to act as salt to arrest the corruption around us.
The spirit of man is a candle (Pro 20:27). We need to be kindled by the nature of יהוה. Men light candles and יהוה will light you.
Yahusha’s gospel mission was not to destroy but to construct it’s asine to claim the commandments are no longer applicable because of grace.
What people don’t comprehend is grace constructs. Grace does not destroy. Grace constructs the commandments into a better temple based upon better blood and a better covenant. To claim grace destroys the commandments is a capital offense.
3 And vuvh said, Like My eved Yeshayahu has walked naked and barefoot three years for an ot and wonder against Mitzrayim and upon Ethiopia…
This doesn’t mean that the prophet was stark naked, but that he was to wear tattered clothing and worn shoes.
4 So shall the melech of Ashshur lead away the Mitzri prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Mitzrayim. 5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Mitzrayim their pride. 6 And the inhabitant of this island shall say in that day, See, such is our expectation, wherever we flee for help to be delivered from the melech of Ashshur: and so how then shall we escape?
Isa. 31:1 Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek יהוה!
If we rely upon the world for our protection and provision we will be left disappointed and desolate…
We must turn to יהוה, we must inquire of יהוה NOT the world, not media. Without יהוה intercession Egypt/the world proves no match for a northern type, Assyria, the end time Assyrian – a type and shadow of the anti – messiah.
V. 6 אִי ‘ı̂y ALEPH-YOD…this island…the only part of eretz Israel which was not conquered by the Assyrians was the “island” of Malchus Yahudah…
…ask yourselves this in the black community…are the only ones that are going escape being conquered by this ruse of turning to end time Egypt for recognition and value going to be those in the black community who instead look unto the Holy One of Israel, seek יהוה and awaken to the migration back to Judah…TURN your back on end time Egypt – she’ll betray us all.
According to the prophecy Isaiah is sending a powerful message to those who would place their trust in Egypt and it’s neighbor Cush (Cush is a misguided black alliance with the identity politics coming out of Egyptian).
