The Millennium is this enigmatic, mystifying period preceding judgment and the eternal state.
This is a period of vindication within history of the cause of Yahusha.
There will be two tribulation periods (Jacob's Trouble and the Gt. Tribulation) and with that two categories of resurrection of the dead.
The first resurrection is the resurrection of the believers who did not worship the beast or receive its mark - Revelation 20:4-5 who gain entrance into “the Millennium” (some limit the Millennium to the martyrs alone - Rev 6). I disagree with this limited view though I recognize however a connection in Matt 10:39, “whoever looses his life for my sake, will find it.” but don’t limit it to just that. In this teaching find out about a literal thousand year reign here on earth administered under the Melchizedik Priesthood and its Shavuot inception point - the Book of the Covenant - Exo. 24.7.
Future resurrection: Martyrs-Rev 6. into millennium – Rev 20:4,: a transfiguration of the remnant, not all taste death – Matt 16:28, as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed/allassō Heb. 1.12
Resurrection of the just and the unjust after the millennium at the great white throne judgement – Acts 24:15)
Matt: 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.
3 rankings:
least in the kingdom of heaven
great in the kingdom of heaven
outside the kingdom of heaven
ONLY in Rev 20:1-10 do we find ANY New Testament teaching about the Millennium (Latin: mille “thousand,” and annus “year”).
Does the ‘Millennium text’ hint at two tribulation periods (remember Jacob had a “trouble” – “messengers returned to Jacob, saying, We came to thy brother Esau, and also he cometh to meet thee, and four hundred men with him. Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands;”and a “Gt. Tribulation” – the ‘supposed slaying of his beloved son’ – “And they sent the coat of many colours, and they brought it to their father; and said, This have we found: know now whether it be thy son’s coat or no.”
Remember, Jacob had to work for seven years to get his first bride and then he worked another seven years for his second bride.

Two tribulation periods and with that two categories of resurrection of the dead?

Revelation 20:4-5
4. And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Yahusha, and for the word of Yahua, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years.
5. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
The first resurrection being selective (priests -the woman – transfigured and martyrs), the second resurrection being absolutely universal (just and unjust)
The first death is virtually universal (some will be alive at the parousia- the Second Coming) and the second is selective.
10 points:
יהוה has to build a house for his kingdom (2 Chr 2:12 – Ephraim & Judah)
It’s going to be composed of: power, strength and glory; meaning there’ll be no middle course, no concession, no shame (Dan. 2:37)
it’s an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him (Dan. 7:27. Meaning there’s going to dominions outside the kingdom…
It’s at hand (Mat 3:2) meaning its within each and everyone’s grasp…yet it if they take hold of it they can’t look back or they’re not worthy of it.
Whatever teaching and instructions Abraham, Isaac and Jacob were following and whatever blood ratified covenant they were in covered them and granted them access to this kingdom (Matt 8:11)
A Levitical HP of the righteousness of John the Immerser is only able to attain the rank below those of least within this kingdom (thus a priestly qualifier greater than Levi bears the greatest weight and measure) Mat. 11:11.
It comes with violence and force upon the souls of men (Mat. 11:12) it comes suddenly, secretly, powerfully, and effectually. This violence denotes a strength, and vigor, and earnestness of desire and endeavor , a fervency and zeal are required of all those who design to make heaven of their faith. They who would enter into the kingdom of heaven must strive to enter; that kingdom suffers a holy violence. No halfway measure.
It involves mysteries, and a priesthood, it’s hidden from in a measure but will grow and grow Mat. 11.11, 13.11, 13.33 – it’s apprehending the mystery of the Melchizedek. You’ve got to be converted (Matt 18.3)
It’s got keys (Matt 16:19) meaning it locks and there is an outside and inside.
The rich have to be more diligent and cautious not to loose it and to apprehend it.
The kingdom of heaven will be on earth: It’s the millennium and it’s going to be administered from the Mount of Olives by the Ruach Ha Kodesh and the Melchizedek Priesthood.
Ephesians 2:8: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of יהוה 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Titus 3:5:Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Yahusha Messiah our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
If you mix up and confuse salvation into “heaven” with salvation into “the Kingdom” – you will never understand the kingdom of heaven.
There are two kinds of righteousness.
Philippians 3:9:And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Messiah, the righteousness which is of יהוה by faith.
Not all righteousness comes from יהוה.
3 theological problems:
2 Corinthians 5:8: We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Master.9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Messiah; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Saved doesn’t always mean an eternal state. It has many different usages it can be:
Hebrew:
yasha` save, savior, deliver,
bil`adey (bil·ad·ā’) = beside, save, without, not in me, not
zuwlah = beside, save, only, but me, but
biltiy (bil·tē’) = but, except, save, nothing, lest, no, from, inasmuch, and not
plēn (plā’n) = but, nevertheless, notwithstanding, but rather, except, than, save
sōtēria (sō-tā-rē’-ä) = salvation, the (one) be saved, deliver, health, saving, that (one) be saved
So what are we saved from or into with so many different Hebrew and Greek words used to describe so many different functions of various forms of salvation?
2 Corinthians 1:6:And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.
Saved from the power of sin, not into eternity.
Philippians 1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Yahusah Messiah.
Saved from the power of sin, not into eternity.
Philippians 2:12: Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
Saved from the power of sin, not into eternity.
Faith that produces covenant works: Saves you from the penalty of exclusion from theMillennium Kingdom James 1 and 2.
Faith: Saves you from the penalty of being cast into the lake of fire.
Believers who are works-unworthy, who have only faith, at best could spend the Millennium in the nations outside of the Kingdom…or worse, in Death and Hades.
