MI KETZ Is an end time shadow PARASHA - there’s a calamity in the land of Israel which leads the inhabitants to come to Egypt - the world, for a solution to their problem.
Our PARSHA comes to us after the account with Judah and Tamar. Prophetically it’s after Judah departs from his brothers and goes it alone in the nations. Isolated and entertaining harlotry exemplified in the Talmud and Mishnah – the traits of Babylon.
41:1-8 Is an end time shadow – there’s a calamity in the land of Israel which leads the inhabitants to come to Egypt – the world for a solution to their problem.
By leaving Israel and coming to the world they inadvertently find Joseph – their tribal brother – even though they don’t recognize him at first he ends up leading them to their salvation – known as the Bread Man of Life – or tsâphnath pa‛nêach.
As Joseph we need be on the lookout for our brothers in the faith as they begin their long home from being lost.
Have you ever backslidden, become discouraged and disheartened? Well here in Chapter 41 we see a person (the cup bearer) who had met and experienced Joseph’s power and anointing – but once redeemed from their plight, their tough situation and back in comfort they soon forget Joseph, the one who showed them their freedom.
After 2 years (Hosea 6, a day is as a thousand years), after 2000 years the redeemed will hearken back to Joseph after apathy and forgetfulness and lack of zeal.
41:3 And behold! Seven other cows came up after them out of the river, evil in appearance, and lean of flesh! And they stood by the other cows on the river bank. 4 And the evil-appearing and lean-fleshed cows ate up the seven beautifully formed and fat cows. So Pharaoh awoke. 5 And he slept and dreamed the second time. And behold! Seven ears of grain came up on one stock, fat and good! 6 And behold! Seven thin ears, and blasted with the east wind, sprang up after them! 7 And the seven thin ears devoured the seven fat and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and behold, it was a dream.
8 So in the morning his spirit was troubled, and he sent and called for all the magicians of Egypt and all its wise men. Pharaoh told them his dreams, but there was none who could interpret them to Pharaoh.
When will believers learn from the past…the complete and utter failure of heathen magic…here it’s contrasted with the perfect wisdom of יהוה.
Pharaoh and his court looked to the magicians Jannes and Jambres…how is this different to the kings of the earth and the courts of men looking to the “science” which interestingly enough even Wiki-Media acknowledges has has its origins in Egypt of this time…it’s origins are “heathen magic” slight of hand and the manipulation of data of Fauchi and Gates today’s Jannes and Jambres…an utter failure…V.30 its gonna consume the land…which is the people…all the people who listened to Jannes and Jambres would perish…right?
It’s the tribes of Joseph that have the diviners cup…divine wisdom to discern the times…
Flip-flop theology.
Visions and dreams are made literal and literal commandments, “keep the sabbath” are spiritualized away.
Peters vision – a vision is interpreted literally (the dietary commandments are now abolished). Then Peter’s interpretation of the dream in Acts 10:28 “But God has shown me not to call any man common or unclean” is spiritualized away!
To be consistent then according to that theology we need to run out into the field and rescue the seven fine looking fat cows from the seven ugly and gaunt cows and rescue the seven plump and full heads from the seven thin heads! It makes no sense!
In truth in Acts 10 Peters vision is the fulfillment of Hosea 2:18 vision where Hosea was given the symbols for the future new covenant – which came into it fulfillment with Peters vision and Cornelius application. One vision fulfilled in another vision both by emissaries of Elohim Hosea and Peter respectively…And in that day I will cut a covenant for them, with the beasts of the field, and with the birds of the heavens, and with the creeping things of the ground.
The Acts vision is about an “unclean” gentile becoming clean through Messiah, don’t lift the sheep verse out of context.
If Yahusha had made “all foods clean” then why was a vision required? Why was Peter confused? Why after 8 years?
When a person eats pork does it touch their tongue, does it touch their lips? Well…2 Cor 6:17 Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing. And I will receive you.
Matt 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven:
Lev 11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.
Seems self explanatory to me with good bible hermeneutics….problem is we’ve been dumbed down to listen to human rhetoric rather than read and use biblical reasoning.
4 statements on what יהוה is doing…
not Joseph but יהוה in spite of Joseph failures and successes. These statements reflect the fullness of faith in the life of the followers of Ben Joseph – Yahusha…because in the role and relationship of Yahusha it’s always been about what the Father is doing.
By joining with Yahusha in faith we put ourselves in the pathway of providence as the Father fulfills His promises…of what He is doing…in spite of false witnesses, in spite of pits and prisons…in spite of any circumstances – good or bad…the role of Yahusha in your life is the Father accomplishing…For I know the plans I have for you, declares יהוה , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. (Jer 29:11)
יהוה gives
יהוה shows
יהוה has shown
יהוה will shortly bring to pass
Gen 41:15 Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I have had a dream, and there is no one who can interpret it. I have heard it said of you that when you hear a dream you can interpret it.”
Gen 41:16 Joseph answered Pharaoh, “It is not in me; יהוה will give Pharaoh a favorable answer.”
Gen 41:25 Then Joseph said to Pharaoh, “The dreams of Pharaoh are one; יהוה shows Pharaoh what he is about to do.
Gen 41:28 It is as I told Pharaoh; יהוה has shown to Pharaoh what he is about to do.
Gen 41:32 And the doubling of Pharaoh’s dream means that the thing is fixed by יהוה , and יהוה will shortly bring it to pass.
Joseph explains how יהוה gives Pharaoh the answer, it’s not him and that answer is an answer that brings peace…because its a practical advice on how the impending crisis should be met.
Joseph the dreamer proves himself a man of practical affairs.
36 That food shall be a reserve for the land against the seven years of famine that are to occur in the land of Egypt, so that the land may not perish through the famine.”
